April Fool's Day will be here in just a couple of days. On this fun day, I like to make "fake" food for my kids. Here are a few ideas:
Sushi: Gummy worms covered in homemede rice crispy treats - roll up jelly roll fashion and cut into 1 inch pieces. Then wrap with fruit roll-ups.
Chicken fingers: Waffer cookies coated in peanut butter then rolled in crushed corn flakes.
Peas: Green candy like starburst/airheads formed into balls.
Ketchup: seedless strawberry jelly
Turkey legs: Make cupcakes and frost them with extra icing piled on top. To make bones, use white candy melts. Melt and then pipe a bone shape on wax paper. When bones have set up stick them into cup cakes. Coat icing with crushed Frosted Flakes and form around bone.
Those are great!!
