Cookies and Milk

It is clear stamp release time over at Some Odd Girl, and I've gotta tell you, these are some FUN stamps!  Today I excited to show you Cookies 'n Milk.  This set comes with the cookie, milk carton, a mustache, a little heart, and 3 sentiments.  That's a lot for mixing and matching.

Not only would this set be so cute for cards, but think of what you could make with it for a Cookies 'n Milk themed birthday party....or baby shower...or tween slumber party! Take a look...
I decorated bakery bags with the cookie guy to serve large cookies in...also great for catching crumbs! I made a little milk carton to use as a party favor box (cut out on a Silhouette).  Of course you can't really drink milk out of it, but you can fill it up with white jelly beans, white m&m's, or white gum balls - then your guest have something to take home with them.

I colored both of the images with Copic markers.  If you are making several and need to save time, just stamp them on colored card stock.

You could also make banners, invitations, place setting...the possibilities are endless!  For more ideas and inspiration using the Cookies 'n Milk clear set, click over to the Some Odd Girl blog. Gotta have this set right now?!? You can find it in the Some Odd Girl shop today!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hip Hop Hooray!!

I'm back today with another NEW clear stamp set from Some Odd Girl.  This one is called Hip Hop Hooray. {Makes me think of that song from the 80's.  Remember it??} This set has 2 adorable bunnies, a carrot, an Easter basket, and 4 sentiments.

Here are a couple of Easter crafts I made using this set...
The little basket on the eggs stand is colored with markers.  For the goody bag, I just stamped the bunny onto pink card stock and the basket onto yellow card stock (I paper pieced the grass and eggs on). I added a little shading with chalks. That's an easy way to get color if you don't have markers or colored pencils.  The title is stamped onto washi tape using StazOn ink.

You'll want to hop on over to the Some Odd Girl blog so you can see the EGG-celent creations made by the other Odd Girls.  Trust me, they are crazy cute and you will not want to miss them!! While you are there, check out the NEW Odds&Ends Spring Bling Mix and Triangle sequins in the shop.

Bone Appetit!

These small brown paper bags are the perfect size for Halloween treats.  I used a Stampin Up! stamp along with one that I found in the in the dollar section at Joann's. If you like to Boo your neighbor's, this treat bag would be great for that.

Thanks for stopping by!!

A Witchy Treat!

Why should kids have all the Halloween fun?!?  Don't forget to give treats to your grown friends too!

I made this treat bag using Witchy Mae, a digital stamp from Some Odd Girl.  Right now she is the featured digi of the month.  That means she is 35% off...no tricks here, all treat!

This treat is super easy to make.  All you need is a small paper bag filled with "something good to eat", some fun paper (I used Stampin' Up!), and your favorite Odd digi.  Cut a strip of paper and snip the tails at the bottom.  Add any circle embellishment and put your digi on top of that.  Add a sentiment....I used one from the  Make A Statement clear set (also a SOG stamp).  To finish up, just fold it over the top of the bag and staple into place.  Now you have a special treat that is fun for any age!

Check out the Some Odd Girl blog for other fun ways to use Witchy Mae!

Breaking Dawn Goodies

Some of my Twilight Saga crazy friends and myself decided to go see the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn.  Well, you just can't go to a movie that late without a midnight snack - goodie bags are a must!!

I used the Martha Stewart "Drippy Goo" punch to add some blood at the bottom of the tag.  To make the blood look wet, I added a little diamond glaze.

The goodie bags have Ghirardelli dark chocolate squares (with gooey red rasberry filling inside), vampire fang cookies, and vampire bite cookies.  Oh, and plastic vampire teeth...of course.   :-)

These vampire bite cookies are so much fun.  They are filled with red jelly on the inside, so when you bite into them, they "bleed".  I got the idea and recipe from Baking Bites blog. Check out it out for the complete recipe.

I made these sugar cookies using the Wilton Vampire Fang pan.
