It's starting to feel like fall in my neck of the woods, so I have been crocheting a few scarfs. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of all but this one. I used Lion Brand Home Spun yarn and a Lion Brand pattern. At the bottom I just added the fringe and made one big knot. I found this yarn a little har to work with. Because of the curly texture, it wasn't easy to see my stitches. I like the finished look though. Here is link to the pattern.

Witchy Mae
Some Odd Girl is having a Sketch Challenge and this card is my entry. I used the Witchy Mae digi stamp. She is colored with Copic markers. The plaid paper is from Stampin Up! and the house border punch is from Fiskars.

Halloween Candy and Cookies
Here is a quick and easy treat you can make for any Halloween event. I made these coffin candy boxes using a Wilton mold, black candy melts, and luster dust. They are super easy...just melt the candy and pour it in the mold. Pop them in the fridge until they are nice and solid, then they just slide right out of the mold. I brushed a little luster dust on the tops, but they look great without any decoration too. I filled it with mini m&m's and the entire treat is edible.
Wrap them up with some Halloween ribbon and you have a quick treat for your ghoul's night out.

| Tag is made using a Stampin' Up! stamp. |
I also made some cookies. This was my very sad and rushed attempt at a Jack Skellington cookie.

Ready for Christmas?
Some Odd Girl and Marker Pop are having a fun Holiday Blog hop. The Hop runs through Monday, so you still have time to go take a look and hop around. When you hop over to Marker Pop's Blog, you will see the holiday challenge they are having. Below is my entry for that challenge. It is a Candy Cane Cocktail recipe card using SOG digi stamp "Cheers Kaylee" and Copic markers.
The recipe was found on Pinterest and reads:
Ingredients
3/4 oz. Creme de Cacao, white
3/4 oz. Schnapps, peppermint
7-Up
Cream
1/4 oz. Grenadine
1 Small candy cane
Fill a highball glass with ice and add the liqueurs and grenadine. Stir and add the cream. Top with 7-Up and garnish with the candy cane.

Ride the Wave
Here is another scrapbook page about the wonderful Typhoon Lagoon water park in Walt Disney World. This one has a lot of pictures on one page and they are all from the Surf Pool. On the left you see a series of pictures showing the wave as it grows. The ones on the right show my family among the crowd in the wave pool. I pointed them out with a little twine.
Products used: Basic Grey What's Up and Konnichiwa stickers, Fancy Pants The Good Life paper, Simple Stories Summer Fresh stickers and some very old Karen Foster paper for the background.

Stache Bash Party
Mustaches are so "in" right now and my daughter is crazy about them. For her birthday we had a Stache Bash....which is ten year old lingo for a night time swimming party at our neighborhood pool. The idea was to go simple and save some money, so we didn't go all crazy with the decorations, but we did incorporate some of the much loved 'staches into the theme.
BANNER: I made a simple banner using Hobby Lobby brand pattern paper. Cut triangles, add letters (I used large foam stamps), add some mustaches, punch holes in the corners, and string up with gift wrap ribbon. The mustaches are cut using my Silhouette, but you can find a lot of mustache stickers at Hobby Lobby if you don't have a cutter.
DRINKS: Peel the labels off water bottles and replace them with some cool mustache Duck Tape. It's best to do this while they are room temperature. I found the tape at Wal-Mart. Keep your waters cool by adding some frozen water balloons to your cooler.
TABLE CONFETTI: I used my silhouette to cut small mustaches and sprinkled them around.
THE CAKE: This is an "ice cream sandwich ice cream cake" that I found on Pinterest. It is so good that my daughter requested it instead of a traditional birthday cake. It is very easy to make...and sooo yummy.
PARTY FAVORS: All of the party guests got their own "fun noodle" pool toy to keep ($1 at the Dollar Tree) and left with mustache finger tattoos and a mustache ring. The tattoos were in a pack with 5 sheets for $1 at the Dollar Tree and the rings were cupcake toppers found at my local cake store for about 20 cents each.
PARTY PICS: I made this Polaroid frame using a foam core poster board. The foam core board was also a Dollar Tree find. Just cut it to the size you want and add a caption at the bottom. I did a caption on each side using some clear stamps. My daughter had a picture with each party guest and sent them a picture along with her thank you note.
