such a geeky girl!

Geeky Gwen is the newest clear stamp set from Some Odd Girl.  Of course she's holding the latest smart phone and rocks a cute pair of large frame glasses.  She comes with 3 sentiments, the hash tag symbol, a thought bubble, and Instagram app symbol.

I have paired Gwen up with some Sunshine Sorbet pattern paper because those little stars look like asterisk symbols to me.  Is that geeky of me, or do you see it too?

You'll want to stop by the Some Odd Girl blog to see what the other Odd Girls created using Geeky Gwen. #youwilltotallygeekout

Don't forget to pin any of your Some Odd Girl creations to the Oddies Pin board.  Have a great day!

talk nerdy to me!

Some Odd Girl is gettin' NERDY this week!

Nerdy Kody is the newest clear stamp set from Some Odd Girl. He is so cute with his laptop and large glasses.  This set comes with Kody, 4 sentiments, a hashtag (#) symbol, the 'at' (@) symbol, and the symbol for pi.

There are SO MANY ways to get your geek on with this set. Drop by the Some Odd Girl blog and see what the other Odd girls have come up with using Nerdy Kody.  Make sure to stop back by tomorrow for a look at the next new clear set too.

Frenchie Gwen

Today I am excited to show you the Frenchie Gwen clear set from Some Odd Girl. She is so cute and fun to color up.  Ooooh la la, you are going to LOVE her!

Gwen comes with a little heart stamp that is so cute by itself, but it is also the perfect shape for flower petals.  I stamped several in a circle shape to make heart flowers.  Then I added a little enamel dot right in the center of the flower to finish it off.  Fun, huh?!?

Don't forget to stop by the Some Odd Girl blog to see the creations form the other Odd girls - or pop by the shop to drop Frenchie Gwen into your shopping cart!

Reindeer Swirl

Christmas will be here in just a few days, but there is still time to get those last minute cards out.

I like a lot of shimmer on Christmas cards, so I made these using heat embossed glitter.

The stamp is from Stampendous and is called Reindeer Swirl. I also used a Heidi Swap 6x6 stencil and snow-tex paste to make the falling snow.  The snow on the ground is just the paste with some glitter.

hop
We mixed things up a bit to bring you a nice variety of holiday projects that we hope will inspire you. You can comment on all of the blogs, participate by linking your own below (to be eligible to win, be sure you link to us in your post), and comment throughout the event on other people's links as well! And there will be PRESENTS! The hop goes from now through Friday, December 12th, and we'll be announcing 3 winners next Wednesday, December 17th, so you have plenty of time to comment between now and then! Our Hol-ODD-Day Hop link party will close at midnight on Friday the 12th.

I have made a snow globe type ornament using ChrisMouse and the snowflake from the Yeti clear sets.  I have embossed the snow flakes and colored the image with copic markers.

Here's an idea of what it would look like hanging on the Christmas tree...

All of the Odd Girls have projects to share for the big event, so you can visit their blogs to see all the action happening. Here's the hop list for our awesome team:
