National Scrapbook Weekend

It's National Scrapbook Weekend.   Have you done any scrapping?  I have not had much time to scrapbook myself, but I did manage to get one page done. This is one for a challenge using paint. Finding Tom Sawyer's paintbrush at the Magic Kingdom was perfect for this challenge. If you would like more information about finding Tom's paintbrush, go here.

Did you see the hidden Mickey?

Scrapping a Cinderella page - boy style

I did this page for a challenge about Disney restaurants.  The pictures are of my son and our desserts from Cinderella's Royal Table. I wanted to use crowns, but didn't want it be "girly", so I used brown paper and some old My Mind's Eye "Handsome Crown" pattern paper.
The title reads: Cinderella's Royal Desserts

Color Challenge

There is a fun Color Inspiration Challenge going on over at the Some Odd Girl Blog.  Here are the colors.  When I saw them I thought of cupcakes!

The clear stamp "Tiny Baker Tia" is perfect for this color challenge.  Here is the tag I made.

Great, now I am hungry....for cupcakes. :-)

Easter Amigurumi

To get ready for Easter I made these cute little guys. They are crochet amigurumi figures. I had a hard time finding the correct size of eyes in my local craft stores, so if you make them, the eyes should be smaller. To make the bunny's ears pink inside, I used my scrapbook pastels, but you can also use blush or eyeshadow.

He even has a little tail.  Here is the side view...

Cupcake Tags

I love cake that comes in any form, but cupcakes are really "in" right now.   Here are few cupcakes tags I made. The round ones are made using cupcake liners. All stamps are from Stampin Up!

This tag reads: It's not about how many candles you blow out, but how many cupcakes you get!

Bubble Gum Treat Bag

I dug out my old Stampin Up! "Treat Yourself" set to make a tag for this gift bag.  The little gum balls are easily made using a hole punch.

I'm linking up over at Paper Issues blog for the linky party "Welcome to the Candy Shop"(That title makes me think of the song by 50 Cent. LOL) Go over to Paper Issues and check out some of the other fabulous entries too.
