Colors of the rainbow, Crayon (in her hand), and Clouds. There are so many things you can do...cake, cats, cupcakes....the ideas are endless, so come play with us!

I used the sweet digital stamp, Rainbow Fairy

Rapunzel

Once upon a time, there was a FABULOUS new clear stamp set from Some Odd Girl....

Let me introduce you to Rapunzel....and her beautiful long hair. If you like to color hair, you are going to LOVE this stamp set. She also comes with a couple of flowers and 2 sentiments. Just think of the fun you can have creating with her!

I made the tower in the background using a sketch file from Silhouette, then I put a velum paper over it to make it look more distant. I paper pieced Rapunzel's dress and colored her up with Copics.  Make sure you check out the Some Odd Girl blog for other projects using this new set.

Kaylee and her Red Cape

Are you ready for more of the Some Odd Girl Fairy Tale collection?  Now Kaylee can dress up as the beloved fairy tale character Little Red Riding Hood. Don't worry, there's no big bad wolf here, just Kaylee and her cute new outfit!!  The Little Red set comes with her hood, cape/dress, basket and "hello" sentiment. This outfit goes with the Kaylee's Closet Wardrobe collection.

If you aren't familiar with Kaylee's Closet yet, it is very much like paper dolls....and so much fun! The clear stamp set includes Kaylee along with a wardrobe full of clothes that fit her.  You can also get additional outfit sets (like Little Red) to add to her wardrobe.  Click here for a demo of Kaylee's Closet and get hooked on the dress-up fun!

You can find Kaylee and all of her fun outfits/costumes at the Some Odd Girl shop.  Make sure to check out the other Design Team creations using the Little Red outfit too!

Mirror Mirror

Last week you saw a sneak peek of the Some Odd Girl Snow White stamp, and throughout this week I will be sharing the entire Fairy Tale collection.  The stamps are available now at the Some Odd Girl website, so you can add these lovely images to your clear stamp collection....and craft happily ever after!

'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' was the first movie I ever saw at the theater and Snow is still my all time favorite Disney Princess.  I just love her and I am glad to share her with you again today.

Instead of a card, I made a little artsy piece this time.  Since The Evil Queen likes to keep an eye on Snow White using her mirror, I thought I would make a mirror shaped frame...you know the little hand held type of mirror.  All I needed for this project was craft foil,  embossing folder, and adhesive.

There are so many fun things you can make with this set! Click here to see what the other Odd Girls have made using the beautiful Snow White. Oh, and make sure you come back tomorrow - I'll be sharing more from the Fairy Tale collection and you do NOT want to miss it.

I leave you with a funny little pic...me as Snow White a few Halloweens ago. A girl can dream, right?!? LOL!!!

Sneak Peek!!!

I am so excited about the new clear stamps we have coming this spring at Some Odd Girl.  There is  something for everyone and I just know you are going to LOVE them. Today I get to share a sneak peek of the Snow White stamp set from the Fairy Tale collection.  Odd Snow White is surrounded by her forest friends and they are sooo cute!

I made the apple card using my Silhouette machine.  Snow and the critters are colored up with Copic markers.  Don't you just LOVE her???  I knew you would!

Make sure you check out the Some Odd Girl blog for other Sneak Peeks going on April 15-17.

Far Out!!

It's Friday!!  TGIF!  I hope you have some crafty time ahead of you this weekend.  I plan to squeeze some in between soccer games myself.

I have a card to share with you today that I made using a fun image from 2 Cute Ink. It's called Up and Away Rocket Ship.  A boy and his dog going on a space adventure, how fun it that!?!  The pattern paper is from the Basic Grey Bow Ties collection.  I just love space themed stuff.

I'm going to send this card as a Thank You to our local Elk's Lodge.  They sent my daughter's entire 5th grade (3 classes) to Space Camp for a week...completely free of charge.  It was an amazing experience for the children and such a wonderful gift.  We are so thankful to them.

Flying by...

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a nice Thursday.  The weekend is almost here...yay!!

Today I have a tag you can easily make without needing a lot of supplies. I started with a basic tag...the kind you can find at any office supply store.  I stamped the clouds (with an A muse stamp) and sentiment directly on the tag.  I stamped the paper airplanes on some notebook paper I swiped from the kids and then popped them up.  I inked the edges and that was it.  Easy peasy.  The sentiment and airplanes are Lawn Fawn...love their images for clean and simple projects.  They are just so much fun.

I'm linking this project up over at Paper Issues for "Up in the Clouds" challenge sponsored by Some Odd Girl.  Make something with clouds, planes, birds, stars, or rainbows and come join in the linky fun!

Get Whale Soon!

Today I want to share a quick little Get Well card with you. I found some small pre-cut scallop cards at Wal-Mart in the craft section and they were less than a dollar for the pack.  I just couldn't pass that up!
I used Some Odd Girl clear stamps on this card. The wave border is from the Under the Sea Mae set.  The cute whale and sentiment are from the Beach Day Buddies set.  I heat embossed the waves and then chalked the edges of the scallops.  The whale is colored with Copics and his water spout has a little glitter on it.

We have a fun critter challenge going on in the Some Odd World (that's our online Odd community) and would love to have you join us. Don't wait too long...it closes on April 7th. :-)

An ODD sketch challenge

I have a fun challenge and some big news to share today. I am super excited to announce that I made the Some Odd Girl Design Team!! (Nope, this is not an April Fool's joke either.) I guess I'm "officially" odd now!  As you may have noticed, I love my Some Odd Girl stamps, so I am beyond thrilled to be a part of this wonderful team.  I can't wait to share all of the Odd goodness with you too.  So let's get started!

It's the beginning of the month, so that means it's also the beginning of a new SOG sketch challenge too.  Here's sketch:
I see the shape of an old school Polaroid picture in this sketch. What comes to mind for you?

Here's what I came up with:

I used the digi stamp, Bicycle Kaylee. She is all colored up with Copic markers. The "Smile" sentiment is from the Photo Kaylee clear set and I cut the Polaroid shape with my Silhouette.

I hope you play along with us this month and can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. Make sure you check out the Some Odd Girl blog for all the details. :-)
