I have a new Some Odd Girl digital stamp for you today, but I also have a fun new cut file too.  So exciting!!!! These images are great alone or paired up together.

I made this card using the new SOG Tweeting digital stamp and the Stump Cardbase.
Since they are digital you can size them how ever you like.   You don't have to have the latest and greatest cutting machine either.  I have the original Silhouette machine, so it's pretty old, and the Some Odd Girl cut files work great with it.

The top part of the pictures is the front of the closed card and the bottom is the inside of the card.  I also used sentiments from the Some Odd Girl  Be You clear set.

Want to see more new releases?  Go to the Some Odd Girl blog to see what else is new today.  Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Oh, and don't forget to check out the new Digi stamps and cut files that came out Tuesday. If you love mermaids, they are for YOU! :-)

THIS is how I roll...

Some Odd Girl is introducing another new clear set today and it's called Be You.  This set is great because has so many sentiments (and other little goodies) that can be used on a variety of crafty projects.  It's perfect for scrapbooks, Smash books, Project Life, card making....just about anything!

I used the "THIS is how I roll" sentiment from the new set...it is PERFECT for Roller Mae.  The flowers in the background are actually a little asterisk that goes along with another sentiment from the set too.  You know you want to see the full set, so roll on over to the Some Odd Girl blog and check it out!
Be sure to come back tomorrow, because I'll have another new set to share with you. :-)

Dare to be...

Are you ready for new Some Odd Girl clear stamps?!?  I thought so! You are going to love this pretty girl....meet Dare to Be Gwen.  She wears a cute outfit and has beautiful curly hair. Her set also comes with a banner, a heart, and the words: fabulous, you, beautiful, and happy.
I've colored her with Copic markers and her outfit is paper pieced with papers from Basic Grey. Want to see what the other Odd Girls have done with Gwen, go over the Some Odd Girl blog and check out their creations!

Disney Shadow Box

So, how you store your vacation mementos?  I like to put most of my things in scrapbooks, but I keep a LOT of junky stuff and sometimes it just won't fit...plus I like to have some things out on display too.

I found this cute shadow box at one of the Walt Disney World souvenir shops and I really like it for storing all of the fun little things I collect on my Disney vacations.  You can do the same thing with a regular shadow box that you get from a craft store or frame shop.  One of the great things about using a shadow box is that you can swap things out.  I change it up for Halloween and Christmas...and sometimes I do a theme, like only antiques or only pins.
Right now I have "passes" in my shadow box.  Park passes, fast passes, photo passes, etc.  I even have some antique Disney Land tickets.

Shadow boxes are great for any type of vacation mementos...not just Disney stuff.  Get all of those fun little things you've been saving from your vacations and put them in a shadow box so you can enjoy them!

Have a great weekend!

May I have your autograph please...

If your summer plans include a Disney vacation, you are sure to get some character pictures and autographs.  How about getting those autographs on something you can use, rather than the typical autograph book?

Here's an idea of what I mean....
I got a canvas bag, added some Disney ribbons to the top (if it's for a boy, you can leave the ribbon off and it still looks great), and had the characters sign it with fabric markers.  Using both sides of the bag gives you plenty of room to get a LOT of character signatures. To make it stable, I had a piece of thick card board inside the bag and wrapped the sides around it tight.  It worked great!!

*Note: Keep in mind that some characters use a stamp instead of signing, like Buzz Lightyear, because they can't hold a pen.  So it may not work as well, and if it does, it will probably wash out if you toss it in the laundry. My solution....I let them stamp paper then traced it onto the bag using a light box when I got home. I guess that's cheating, but I really wanted it on the bag. ;-)

RELAX!!!

Have you seen the new background images Kristy (THE Odd Girl) has been adding to the Some Odd Girl shop? OMG, they are super cute!! They are perfect paired up with other SOG images, or even to just use on their own.  They are digital, so  you can re-size them to fit the size you need...or flip-flop them for the mirror image.  There is a big flower and set of mushrooms that would be perfect to perch any of the SOG fairies on.  So go check them out...and check back often for new backgrounds coming soon.

Let me show you a NEW background called Man Cave.  This one would be so cute with a Preppy Pup or Clever Kitty sitting on the couch, but for the person I am giving it to,  I liked it all by itself.

The sentiment "dude!" is from the Some Odd Girl clear set called Make A Statement.  Have a great day....and RELAX dude!!

Sketch Challenge Time!

Who's ready for summer and a sketch challenge?!?  I know I am ready for a vacation, pool time with the kiddos, and some much needed UN-scheduled time.

Let's celebrate June (and summer time) with an awesome new sketch challenge from Some Odd Girl.

Here's the sketch....

Here's what I came up with...
I used the beautiful Unicorn Mae and colored her up with Copics.  I hope the summer brings you some crafty time.  If so, come play along with us at Some Odd Girl!
