Happy Birthday....LATE!

Here's a little card I made for a friend's birthday....late (bowing my head in shame).  I thought this cute little rabbit looked like he was hiding, so he was perfect for a belated birthday card.

My lighting is a little dark, but I was trying to get it to show the embossed words, so I hope you can see it well enough.  Casting shadows was the only thing working with my limited self taught camera skills.

I used The Cat's Pajamas "Birthday Bunny" clearly swanky stamp set.  He is colored with Copic markers.

Waves and Princesses

I have a fun new cut file for you today from Some Odd Girl.  It's the Waves Layers cut file, and I think this one is awesome because it can be used for sooo many projects.  I have used it to make a little insert for my Disney photo album (that's done sort of like a project life page).  So basically it will just slip down in a photo sleeve pocket.

Can you guess which princess pictures she will be going with??
Yep, I colored her up to look like the Little Mermaid. I used Under the Sea Mae and the fun new Wave Layer cut file.  They just seemed to go together perfect! You can use the waves on cards, scrapbook pages, or even for school projects.  It's new in the shop along with a fun little Pirate Tobie.  So go check them out!

I love coloring my SOG images up as Disney Princesses, even though that isn't what they really are.  Here are a few more examples:
Royal stamp as Snow White

Royal stamp as Princess Tiana

Royal Stamp as Cinderella

Out of this World!!

Some Odd Girl has new space themed goodies for you to add to your crafty collection.  There is new cut file background called "Star Fall" and a digital stamp that is out of this world....he is called Astro Tobie.

Here is Astro Tobie as he brings Halloween to other planets.
He would be so cute on a Project Life page if your little one dresses up as an astronaut for Halloween.

If you visit the Some Odd Girl blog today, you can see other ways to use Astro Tobie (and the new cut file) from the Design Team.

Featured Digi {DISCOUNT}

Summer is over and for many people that means.....FOOTBALL SEASON! My Hubs is a big sports fan, and he loves his football.  I enjoy going to the games...to hear the band, tail gating, seeing the mascot, watching the cheerleaders, and eating lots of nachos - I don't keep up with game too much. ;-)

If you like football...or like me, just enjoy the football festivities, you might want to grab this little guy up while he is on sale. This is All Star Kody and he is 35% off in the Some Odd Girl shop right now.

 He is just so cute and you can color him up in any team colors.  I made the tag using some fun football textured paper that I found at Hobby Lobby...they had basketball texture too...it was in the specialty paper section.

Take a look at the Some Odd Girl blog for some other creations using All Star Kody

Sept Sketch Challenge!

It's a new month, so there is a new Sketch Challenge at the Some Odd Girl blog.  I think this one is really neat with a lot of room for interpretation.  You can really make it your own, so I hope you will come join us and play along.  Of course there are prizes.....AND if we get 50 players there will be a special prize.

So here is the sketch:

Here is my take on the sketch:

I used Painter Mae (I so heart her!) and sentiment from Make a Statement. She is colored with Copic markers.  I used some washi paper from We R Memory Keepers to make the banner.  It is seriously cool washi because it comes in a sheet and you can cut it or punch it into any shape/size you need. I stamped my sentiment with Staz On then just cut it into a banner shape.  { Big thanks to Melvin at the We R Memory Keepers booth for sharing this awesome washi with the Odd Girls at CHA!}

Come on over to the Some Odd Girl blog to see what the other Odd Girls did with the sketch, then get your crafty supplies out, make something, and come play with us! :-)
