Happy New Year everyone!!! 2014 is going to be a great year!
I'm not going to call them "resolutions", but I do have all sorts of plans, goals, and projects planned for myself this coming year. How about you?
Why not start off the year by kicking your craft mojo into gear?!? If you haven't been at it for a while, now's the time...dust of that paper trimmer, hunt down those crochet needles, and thread up that sewing machine! Get back to crafts in 2014!
Need a little help? Try a good blog challenge (that always works for me). Some Odd Girl has a fun TAG challenge going on for January. You can do a simple tag or make something more challenging...like a mini album made from tags...whatever you like!
I made a gift card holder tag.
It is easy peasy! It's just one long piece of paper. One end is trimmed in a traditional "tag" shape and the other end is cut at an angle. Then you just fold it over and add adhesive to the edges. Now you just decorate it and slip the gift card in. Ta-da! Your first project of the new year is complete!
I used 3 different clear sets from Some Odd Girl: Big Day Tobie, Party Time from Kaylee's Closet and Owl Days. You can find them all in the SOG shop. For more TAG inspiration and challenge details, be sure to check out the Some Odd Girl blog!
Love the colors and that is on clever use of the tag-idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable gift card holder, turned tag (or perhaps the other way around!) Love your colors and fun photography too!
