TIE-riffic Father's Day!

The kids and I had a fun making things for Father's Day and found all of our ideas on Pinterest.  We went with a "Tie" theme.  These cute ideas aren't just for Father's Day, you can also make them for men/boy birthdays too.  Make sure to click on the links I provided that go back to the original blogs so you can get the instructions and printables.

To start off, we made this room service door hanger from a free printable we got here.  Dad picks what he wants, hangs it on his door, and then the little "chefs" pick it up and make breakfast.

He picked sausage, grits, toast, fruit and muffins.  He also wanted juice AND soda.  Hey, it's his day...if he wants two drinks, he gets two drinks.
Ta-da! Breakfast in bed. My son had the towel on his arm because he thinks that is what butlers do. LOL!

We also found a free printable for this adorable Tie banner here. Jut print and cut. So easy!

What do you get a guy who really doesn't need or want anything?  Dr. Pepper and beer...decorated with cute ties of course!  Everyone know soda tastes better in glass bottles, so we went with that. We also found a mix and match area in the beer section at our local grocery store, so we were able to get several flavors he hasn't had before.  The little ties came from the same site with the banner.

The kids also got their Dad and Grandfather some candy and decorated it with ties too.  These shirts are made from simple legal size envelopes and we used some of the same Tie tags that we put on the drinks.  Find instructions for the shirts here.
